Letters: Emotional Manipulation

15 March 2024

Dear friend,

This letter will be short, and that’s because I want you to do the deep interpreting and filling in.

Emotional Manipulation. Playing victim to torment another person and get them to do what you intend to be done so they’d stop feeling bad.

People will say this is common among women, but is that true? No. It is all in us, and I’m not here to tell you whether to use it or not. I am here to help you guard your minds against this subtle and destructive weapon.

I can go on and on about this subject and still not finish it because it is wide.

It applies everywhere.

Protect your pride. Protect your weak points. That’s the first thing emotional manipulators look for. Your ego! Once they’ve gotten your ego, they’ve gotten you, and you become a pawn. You get hooked and can’t get your freedom back.

They hail you and cunningly make their request.

Men whose ego is conquering women will always remain slaves to these women because once she sees that you are addicted to her, she’d eat into you deeply.

Rise above your ego. We first learned of emotional manipulation from our parents. They make us do things we ordinarily won’t do by speaking to that part of us that is fragile and highly emotional. They often use the language of love as we understood it then.

Back then, as little children, when someone gifts us money, we take it to our parents to keep for us. When we ask for the money, they’d simply tell us, “Don’t you eat at home?” Puzzling… that was the earliest exposure to the act of emotionally manipulating people.

Most rulers tend to be ruthless, not because they are emotionless; they are simply protecting their pride. Once I know what you love so much, I can use it as bait to get you.

Consider this scenario: A man was kidnapped, alongside his best friend, and his mother was kidnapped too; he was asked to stab his best friend to let his mother go free.

Now, by convention, he’s to love his mother over his best friend, and from this, we can deduce that he definitely is going to stab his best friend.

That’s a play of emotions. The best way to protect what you love, cherish, and take pride in is to keep it out of the public eye.

Be ruthless and selfish, and show no outward emotion.

I would have touched a very important part of this emotional manipulation, but first, read these books,

The 48 laws of power and

The laws of human nature.

When you’re done, we can discuss personally via email.

Love and light!

Rooting for you, and I trust you too are rooting for me.

Best Regards,

Joseph Chisom Ofonagoro.

Till I write next, Goodbye!
