Life Letter
Letters: Christmas Gift: Universal Stability and Opposites
20 December 2023Dear friend,
Here is my Christmas gift:
Some time ago, a friend of mine said something to me: he wished everyone were rich and that there’d be nothing like poverty in existence.
I understood him perfectly, but I calmly told him that it is impossible for everyone to be rich.
Theoretically, it is feasible, but in pragmatic terms, not only is it absurd; it is very difficult for such to happen, at least for an hour.
Some of you probably have such beliefs also. “Why can’t we just be all rich?”
Now, let me bring to your observation why it is literally undoable for such to happen. It violates a universal law, and, funnily enough, it is not the only item in the box; there are many of them.
This world we live in, this universe we found ourselves in, runs on stability, and for stability to be in place, everything in existence was made in opposites.
Matter and Antimatter.
Good and Bad.
Light and Darkness.
Tall and Short (with its variants)
Rich and Poor.
Wise and Foolish.
Young and Old….
We can go on and on and on; the list is inexhaustible… fill them yourself if you wish…
Everything has its polar opposites; even the earth has its North and South and its East and West.
This is why there’ll never be a time when poverty is totally eliminated. Even if they try to distribute the world’s wealth evenly among the entire population of the world, momentarily, it can be said that everyone is equally rich, but in hours, not days, everything will revert to normal and there would be poor people again and millionaires and billionaires and middle class.
The laws governing the universe do not accept such oneness and equality and have created systems to ensure that, regardless of what men try to do, there will always be opposites.
Create a free class for everyone alive on how to make money in a day with irrefutable templates that six-year-olds can copy and use to make money; many still won’t attend.
Try as much as you can, you can’t chase darkness away.
You need to understand this to live a happier life; this is perhaps why many are depressed and live a life that’s not theirs- they fail to understand that within them, there are virtues and vices, that in them, there is a saint and at the same time, a sinner. In them, there is a child and at the same time, an adult. They fail to understand this and feel they are bad people when they do things that society deems bad. They fail to understand this universal polarity and judge people based on the characters they see. For the old subscribers, you all remember the newsletter I sent some time ago when I wrote on how Jesus rejected the title ‘good’?
Good and bad MUST coexist for stability. There is no light without darkness and no darkness without light. Both complement each other.
You must begin to understand that there are opposing forces in you and outside you.
Life is not fair, yes! At the same time, it’s not partial… some time, I’d write about the lottery of birth… remind me…
There'd always be stupid people, and there’d be wise people. The question is, what do you want for yourself? Know it, make it clear before you, and you’d get it.
No amount of philanthropy can take everyone out of poverty or the trenches…
No amount of education can enlighten everyone.
No amount of scientific discovery or advancement can make the world perfect.
Yes. That is the bitter truth.
The rich need the poor to remain rich; the poor need the rich to survive.
For wise people to remain wise, there must be ignorant people.
Don’t you see? The universe balances everything in its scale.
Stop the overly soft-heartedness; I’m not telling you to sell your humanity…
The big question is where do you want to be in this scaling? You have the power to change that; it's just a matter of time and the right knowledge. You might not realize it yet- maybe until I send the newsletter on the lottery of birth… it won’t be next week, as next week's newsletter is a pre-new-year message.
Knowledge, they say, is power. Now you have the knowledge, go execute!
I can continue, but it's Sunday, and I’m sleepy, and what I’ve written is more than enough for you to do the above.
The world is built on stability and order, and if everyone is to become one thing, then there’d be chaos, which is something the system won’t permit, at least for long.
PS: I’m available for Christmas rice and stew with chicken. My slot is open. I’ve given you your Christmas gift; now, it’s time to give me mine. Do what you need to do fast.
Love and light!
Rooting for you, and I trust you too are rooting for me.
Best Regards,
Joseph Chisom Ofonagoro.
Till I write next, Goodbye!
